The deal

ProofUp pairs you with a partner working on the same goal and asks for daily photo proof. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use ProofUp.

You need to be old enough

You must be at least 16 if you live in the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, and at least 13 everywhere else (or older if your country sets a higher digital-consent age). If we learn an account belongs to someone under the limit, we'll close it and delete the data.

What you can post

ProofUp runs on real photos of real progress. The following are not allowed:

• Nudity or sexual content. Keep swimwear-equivalent coverage at minimum. Anything sexualising a minor results in an immediate ban and is reported to the authorities.
• Hate or harassment. No attacking people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, orientation, age, or medical condition. No targeted harassment of partners.
• Faked proof. No AI-generated, deepfaked, photoshopped, recycled, or screenshotted images passed off as today's effort. The photo has to be taken by you, today, of the actual thing you did.
• Illegal stuff. Anything illegal under your local law or ours.
• Self-harm content. Don't use ProofUp to document or encourage eating disorders, self-harm, or unsafe extreme practices.
• Spam and scams. No affiliate links, MLM recruitment, or crypto pumping in your snaps or messages.
• Other people's stuff. Don't post copyrighted material you don't have rights to, or photos of identifiable people who haven't agreed.

Voting on your partner's proof

Your partner's vote on your snap is final for that day, and yours is final on theirs. Vote in good faith: accept proof that genuinely shows the effort, reject proof that's clearly fake or off-topic. Repeatedly rejecting valid proof to break a partner's streak, or rubber-stamping obvious fakes, is a violation — we review patterns and will suspend bad-faith voters.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account. One person, one account. Don't impersonate someone else, and don't make a second account just to vote on your own snaps.

Your content stays yours

The photos and text you upload remain yours. To run the service we need a narrow license to host and display them — limited to operating ProofUp for you and your matched partners. That license ends when you delete the content or your account.

We don't sell your photos. We don't train AI on them. We don't use them in marketing without your explicit, separate consent.

Reporting and takedowns

See content that breaks these rules? Report it from inside the app (three-dot menu → Report) or email hrach.harutyunyan49@gmail.com. We aim to triage within 72 hours and act within 7 days. Reports involving minors, threats, or non-consensual intimate imagery are prioritised the same day.

Copyright. If something on ProofUp infringes your copyright, email us with your contact info, what you own, a link to the content, and confirmation you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised. We'll remove it while we investigate and accept counter-notices from the user who posted it.

When we suspend or end an account

We can suspend or end your account if you (a) seriously break these terms, (b) put other users at risk, (c) commit fraud or abuse, or (d) use ProofUp in a way that exposes us to legal liability. We'll give you fair notice and a chance to fix the issue first — except for clear-cut violations (illegal content, threats, repeated fakery), which are immediate.

You can leave any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. Deletion removes your snaps, streaks, votes, and messages within 30 days.

If you're in the EU/UK

Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under mandatory consumer law in your country. If we ever offer a paid plan, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from purchase. The EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You can always bring claims before the courts where you live.

No warranty

ProofUp is provided as-is. We try hard, but we can't guarantee the service is error-free, uninterrupted, or that streak math is perfect. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or €50. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or anything else that can't be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. If you're a consumer somewhere with stronger mandatory protections, those still apply to you.

Changes to these terms

If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
